Steven, along with his father, partner and former real-estate attorney, Byron R. Chrisman, and partner Michele Miller, began Chrisman Commercial in 1998. 

For nearly 30 years, Chrisman Commercial has specialized in all phases of marketing, leasing, property management and sales of office, flex, R&D, industrial and warehouse space in Boulder County, Colorado.  

Chrisman Commercial’s property management portfolio consists of nearly 550,000 s.f. of commercial office space.   All buildings currently managed by Chrisman Commercial are co-owned by various Chrisman family members, as well as a plethora of private investors.  Chrisman Commercial has established a well-deserved  high reputation as a result of its excellently maintained and managed commercial office buildings.

Steven is a Boulder native and attended Boulder High School.  He received a B.A. in Economics from Pepperdine University in 1990.  After college, Steven became employed in real estate development and management with Regal Management, Boulder, Colorado.  Prior to beginning Chrisman Commercial, Steven acquired his real estate license and worked as a Broker Associate with Prudential Wise-McIntire.

Steven has been mentored by his father, Byron R. Chrisman.  Byron was a founding member of and practiced law at Chrisman, Bynum and Johnson, P.C., later acquired by Faegre & Benson, LLP, until retirement in 1997. While practicing, he specialized in real estate and tax law.  In 1973, Byron began acquiring and/or had constructed most of the buildings currently co-owned and co-managed. Byron’s foresight of a family-owned commercial real estate business compelled him to begin teaching Steven and his brothers the commercial real estate business early in life.

Steven, Michele and Byron take great pride in the fact that their buildings are of very high-quality construction and are continually maintained to excellent standards.  

Steven’s commercial real estate exposure, education and experience have provided him a broad real estate background. 

Steven has been a member of the Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Realtors and the Commercial Brokers of Boulder since 1998.
